Commissioned Work:
The artist is available for commissioned work.
Because of his lack of vision and inability to see distances, he would
prefer to work from photographs either taken by the commissioner or by himself.
Naturally, because of the nature of his work, i.e. the desire to paint those
images no longer with us, it usually is necessary to work from old photographs.
The artist is also happy to take on any commission desired
including house and animal portraits, buses, trams and cars. Doug
Jones normally works in water colour on very good quality cartridge paper
of a size approximately 20" x 16". However, he is open to whatever
your needs might be. Please feel free to contact
